ZÜBLIN and STRABAG unify their brand image

Stuttgart, 26 April 2017

ZÜBLIN is sending a clear message at this year’s Deutscher Bautechnik-Tag trade fair opening on 27 April in Stuttgart. Effective immediately, the colours of Germany’s leading building construction and civil engineering company will be in line with the design of its parent company STRABAG SE with the company name written in red letters between two horizontal black bars on a white background.

The unification of the brand image brings to the corporate design what has already become established at the operating level – in keeping with the group’s motto “TEAMS WORK.”: two powerful brands, one powerful presence. ZÜBLIN has not only proven its engineering skills internationally for more than 100 years; as a member of the STRABAG group of companies, it also offers a level of vertical integration that delivers efficient solutions to complex challenges. For ZÜBLIN, the key to a project’s success is in the cooperation of all project participants – across a building’s entire lifecycle. In Germany, for example, ZÜBLIN can rely on the extensive know-how in transportation infrastructures, project development and facility management of STRABAG AG, STRABAG Real Estate GmbH and STRABAG Property and Facility Services GmbH.

The result is the best possible added value across all project phases: from development to design, from construction to operation. Management board member Dr. Alexander Tesche: “With TEAMS WORK., ZÜBLIN and STRABAG look at construction projects as a whole and offer an end-to-end range of services. The change of the logo is another strong signal for our 360° competence and will further consolidate our leading market position.”

The repositioning of the brand image will also support STRABAG and ZÜBLIN in a whole series of strategic moves. Both companies are currently working together at driving along the issues of “construction 4.0” and “digitalisation”. In the past few months, STRABAG and ZÜBLIN have developed concepts for innovative procurement, the standardisation of BIM solutions and cooperative networks in construction process management. Visitors to Deutscher Bautechnik-Tag can inform themselves of the progress in this regard at the ZÜBLIN trade fair stand – for the first time in red and white.

For the launch of the new logo, a number of ZÜBLIN projects with greater geographic significance have already been reflagged. The logo change is to be completed and the new colours are to be visible everywhere by the end of 2017.
