In addition to the conventional method of pouring in-situ concrete, ZÜBLIN Timber-Concrete Composite has also been developed as a prefabricated system. Thus, the beneficial properties of concrete, as a damper for vibration and as a sound absorbing mass in the compression zone, combine perfectly with dry, fast and precise timber construction. Fire resistance REI120 can also be achieved with visual finishes.
The ribbed floor system is built from prefabricated concrete slabs on glulam ribs, which considerably simplifies the installation of services and the integration of acoustic solutions. The flat slab system, in combination with Cross Laminated Timber (LENO), allows for a smooth timber ceiling and a shallow construction depth.
During the planning and construction phase we can rely on our decades of experience in prefabricated, re-enforced concrete construction at Ed Züblin AG, which we combine with the expertise of ZÜBLIN Timber Construction.
