The bad weather seemed to play into the hands of the event on 17.3.25, as the rainy weather motivated around 6,500 visitors to attend Swabia's largest careers information fair in Augsburg.
The fitforJOB! careers information fair enables companies to present themselves, while at the same time offering young people the opportunity to explore the possibilities of vocational training and gain more clarity about their talents and individual career paths.
Anyone who had secured a ticket electronically beforehand was able to walk through the fair from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and examine the 200 exhibitors with more than 180 job profiles.
Equipped to answer any questions
At our stand, we were able to answer all the questions of the young, future trainees. Each member of the stand brought along a large bag of know-how: Michael Stegmair provided information on the carpenter:carpenter profession, Franziska Treffler confidently answered questions about the architectural draughtsman:draughtswoman profession and the dual study program, and PuC Timber colleague Susanne Pfaffenzeller answered questions about training for industrial clerks and gave general feedback on career advice at ZÜBLIN Timber.
Our colleagues from STRABAG Augsburg were also on site and informed guests about their training professions directly opposite.
Who visited our stand?
Pupils who were very interested in an apprenticeship, current students who were looking for an internship, retrainees who were looking for an internship, career changers who were looking for a job and, of course, interested parents and teachers.
What will we take away with us?
After the fair is before the fair. we will be back in 2026, because participation is worthwhile for us. We will have good discussions, stay in touch as a training company and gain new impetus from the many impressions.
Until the next fitforJOB! Augsburg in 2026 is still a little way off. We are using the time to be creative so that we have lasting gimmicks on our stand at the next careers fair.
