- A look behind the scenes at ZÜBLIN Timber
- Serial systems, digital planning
- Movie: Episode 14
The strengths of building with timber are obvious: resource-saving constructions with biogenic materials, a high degree of prefabrication for precise execution and a significantly shorter construction phase on site. But what is serial timber construction - and what added efficiency and quality can be achieved?
To gain an insight into how we plan, develop and implement serial timber construction concepts holistically, the team from Holzbau Kompetenz Sachsen (HKS) visited us with presenter Linda Gernitz. The result is a smart video for the HKS FastWood series, which provides a look behind the scenes at ZÜBLIN Timber.
With its FastWood e-learning format, HKS offers practical information and concrete example projects relating to modern timber construction.
In episode 14, our Daniel Kreissig, Project Manager Acquisition, explains how industrial production, modular system solutions and digital processes interlock - and how this can reduce construction times by up to 40 percent.
Our serial MOLENO® construction system combines the best of both worlds - wood and concrete optimally combined. The intelligent combination of our LENO®-ADD timber construction elements and prefabricated concrete parts enables the economical construction of attractive residential and educational buildings in a short time and using sustainable construction methods.
The FastWood clip was followed by a 60-minute online presentation that went into detail about serial construction. Numerous participants listened to it and asked questions.
You can find detailed German information about FastWood and HKS here.
Behind the scenes
With scenes from our production and a tour of our new office building T3, we offered insights that are not commonplace.
