- Nine new trainees for the year 2025
- Three draughtsmen, one industrial clerk and five carpenters now enrich our team
- Freshers' Day was a complete success
We are delighted to welcome our new trainees!
The first day for our new trainees started at 08:30 with a company presentation, where our new trainees were able to get to know the Aichach site and the Group better. This was followed by exciting presentations from works council member Markus Klaus and a representative of IG Bau. Afterwards, there was an introductory talk with the technical division manager Roman Kreutmayr and a relaxed game to get to know each other in order to promote the team spirit of the group.
Afterwards, everyone collected their work clothes from the warehouse and were given a first insight into the processes on site during a tour of the plant by Armin Bischofberger. The lunch break was spent comfortably in the canteen with delicious food. Here, the trainees also had time to get to know each other better in informal conversations.
In the afternoon, the program included an important introduction to topics such as the Youth Employment Protection Act, report booklets, company agreements and other important instructions.
In between, the "tower building" game provided plenty of fun and teamwork: In groups, the trainees used spaghetti and marshmallows to build the tallest tower in 35 minutes, with a marshmallow having to form the top.
The winning team - consisting of Luisa, Fabian and Andreas - built the tallest tower and can be happy about their first small success.
The first day ended in a relaxed manner at 3:40 pm - a successful start to training at ZÜBLIN Timber!
