- Start of apprenticeships in 2026 at ZÜBLIN Timber
- Two industrial clerks, five carpenters, two technical draftsmen
- An exciting welcome day for freshers
Why choose an apprenticeship after school? Because it offers real prospects.
An apprenticeship combines theory and practice, enables a direct entry into working life and offers the chance to take on responsibility at an early stage.
Nine young people have also chosen this path: the 2026 apprenticeship year kicked off at ZÜBLIN Timber with the freshers’ day. The new apprentices are starting their careers as industrial clerks (2x), carpenters (5x) and technical draftsmen (2x).
The first day of training at the Aichach site began with a company presentation, which provided an insight into ZÜBLIN Timber, its various areas of activity and its corporate culture. The programme was complemented by contributions from the works council and IG BAU, as well as some icebreaker games.
During a tour of the premises, the new colleagues were able to gain their first impressions of the work processes and our production facilities, including the various halls and machines.
However, the main focus was on getting to know one another. After a group lunch, they headed to the escape room together with trainees from the higher years of their apprenticeships. There, team spirit, communication and creative thinking were essential: only by working together to solve puzzles, combine clues and overcome challenges could they reach their goal. It was therefore an ideal opportunity to make initial contacts and bond as a team.
A fantastic first day that has laid a solid foundation for the coming years of training.
We wish all our trainees a successful start!
