Social life is combined here and the requirements of the future are met. The adjacent spacious park area - the core area of BUGA 23 - creates a direct connection to nature and decelerates everyday life.

BPD Immobilienentwicklung GmbH commissioned the ZÜBLIN Karlsruhe Directorate with the turnkey construction of two residential buildings (B11.7 and B9.1) in timber hybrid construction on the BUGA site.
ZÜBLIN Timber produced timber frame construction walls at the Aichach plant, which form the outer shells. ZÜBLIN Timber was also responsible for the assembly of the entire timber construction, including the façades. One of the special features of the B9.1 building planned by Kränzle + Fischer-Wasels is the geometry of the conical façade made of wooden shingles and the rounded corners. The latter in particular is correspondingly demanding in terms of construction and prefabrication. The ceilings, columns and staircases as the load-bearing structure of the timber hybrid buildings are made of reinforced concrete. The green residential quarter is not only home to nature, but also to a special quality of life and living.
