Residential building, Stuttgart

The house, which was built using LENO® solid construction, offers plenty of space for the family of four. The planning on the small plot and the obligation to add on to the adjacent neighboring building was challenging. The installation of an in-roof photovoltaic system in combination with an air-to-water heat pump was a convincing solution. The rear-ventilated timber façade is designed as vertical burnt timber cladding using the traditional Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method.

Special features:
The owners have received many nominations and awards for their home, such as the German Design Award Winner 2020.
