SKAIO - the first wooden high-rise building in Germany
As part of the Neckarbogen urban exhibition, the "SKAIO" and "FAMJU" buildings are part of the mixed-use building block J. Mixed both in terms of architecture and the intended target groups. A total of eight individual buildings were created, but connected via a shared inner courtyard and a shared underground parking garage. Dedicated primarily to residential use, this is a mix of rental and owner-occupied apartments.

The "SKAIO" building was planned as a hybrid construction. The majority of the structure is made of wood, while the staircase and the base storey are made of reinforced concrete. SKAIO in Heilbronn is Germany's first high-rise building in timber construction with a height of 34 m. (as of 2020)
