Wälderhaus, Hamburg

The WÄLDERHAUS at Wilhelmsburger Inselpark is a project of excellence of the International Building Exhibition (IBA Hamburg) and is architecturally and conceptually a new, globally unique multifunctional building.

It is located at the former main entrance to the international garden show (igs). Visually, it sets a visual accent with its design and a wooden façade made of larch wood. The basic idea is clearly conveyed: The "forest and wood" theme runs not only through the interior of the WÄLDERHAUS, but through all of its areas.
