Wine hotel "Pfeffer & Salz", Gengenbach

The Pfeffer & Salz restaurant in Gengenbach has completed its claim to be a "Recommended Wine Hotel" by the German Wine Institute (DWI) with its hotel extension and a new vinotheque at the adjoining winery.

With 13 new, barrier-free hotel rooms and the unusual vinotheque, the entire complex, including the restaurant and the adjoining 4.5-hectare "winery", occupies a special position among the 32 wine hotels in Baden. Wood as a building material typical of the Black Forest, the cloister vault in the vinotheque as a symbol of the monastery and Gengenbach and the wine environment as an omnipresent decorative element in all rooms.

We drew up the workshop plans for the timber construction, took care of the complex machine joinery, the pre-assembly of the supports and steel parts and the delivery of the ready-to-install LENO® cross-laminated timber components and supplied Hansmann Zimmerei-Holzbau.
