Rib elements and box elements

High performance for your customized load-bearing structure

Spans of up to 20 meters without load-bearing interior walls, wide-span ceilings without columns, or wide roof overhangs - with our products, structural challenges can be met cost-effectively and reliably. The load-bearing structures of rib elements consist of ribs positioned at a distance from each other, which are connected as load-bearing chords via an upper planking of laminated veneer lumber or cross laminated timber (CLT/LENO®).
If a smooth soffit is required, if elements have to be designed with insulation or with a corresponding fire protection requirement, then box elements are the right choice.

  • Requirements are different! We combine our composite elements sensibly. Combinations with LENO®  cross laminated timber (CLT), glulam (GLT), laminated veneer lumber (LVL, BauBuche) or concrete composite - we are equipped to meet your requirements!

Ribbed elements

They consist of spaced ribs, which are connected by an upper planking of panel materials as a static load-bearing chord.

Glulam (glulam/GLT) as ribs combined with cross laminated timber (CLT) LENO® as cover panel

Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) for ribs and top panel

  • Individual element dimensions up to b = 2.5 m and l = 24 m
  • Individual use of spruce or beech laminated veneer lumber

Box elements

The use of panel materials as the bottom and top chord increases the fire resistance and load-bearing capacity of box elements.

Ready-to-install LENO® cross laminated timber cover panel prepared for on-site bonding with common HBV variants.

  • Ribs and box elements are particularly suitable for wide-span ceilings and roofs and score points with their high load-bearing capacity, low dead weight and material efficiency.
